How we can collaborate
Who is FLIP+ for?
FLIP+ exists for everyone who believes that assessment systems work better when they are built together. Whether you are designing national exams, developing classroom content, building platforms, or funding global education initiatives — there is a place for you in the FLIP+ community.
You write items. You review stimulus materials. You spend weeks calibrating difficulty and checking metadata. And you know that somewhere, someone else has already written a very good version of the item you are building today.
What FLIP+ offers you
- Access to real, piloted, quality-assured assessment items from peer institutions across the world
- Reduced development time and cost — stop building from zero
- International benchmarking: compare how your items and students perform relative to similar systems
- Trusted governance, clear licensing, and full data protection
- A voice in the direction of the FLIP+ Library — you help set the agenda
What we ask in return
- Share adapted and newly created items where your institution permits
- Contribute metadata and, where agreed, anonymised item statistics
- Engage in Working Groups on item quality, psychometrics, accessibility and AI
This is the only space where cross-system comparisons of item performance are possible in a trusted, documented way.
Already a FLIP+ member?
Beta Access is open now
If your institution is already a FLIP+ member, you can apply for time-limited Beta Access to the Library — open until 31 December 2026. This is your opportunity to access 900+ validated assessment items, upload your own content, and help shape the Library’s next phase.

Not sure where you fit?
Many of our members wear more than one hat — a researcher who also teaches, a ministry official who develops items, a tech partner who also funds innovation. That is exactly the kind of community FLIP+ is.
Write to us and we will help you find the best way to engage.
